Private Music Lessons, Made Affordable

Personalized Lessons on a Sliding Scale

Private lessons are too expensive. Musicians deserve every penny they’re paid, but that doesn’t change the fact that one-on-one lessons with experienced, qualified teachers aren’t accessible to everyone. Aaron wants to change that. By offering lessons on a sliding scale, Aaron is able to offer lessons at lower rates, and can work within people’s budgets, opening up opportunities for students who otherwise might not be able to pay for private lessons.

Lessons are $50/hr. However, if this is an amount outside of your budget, please let Aaron know. He’s dedicated to ensuring access to as many musicians as possible, and will work to adjust rates so they fit within your budget. If you are fortunate enough to be in a position to afford more than $50/hr, please consider increasing your payment to offset the financial impact of offering lessons on a sliding scale. Aaron appreciates your honesty and partnership in ensuring music lessons are available to all.

Aaron has over 9 years of teaching experience on a wide variety of instruments and with students of all ages, including nursery age children. He is able to come to anyone in Orleans Parish, and offers lessons in his home studio in New Orleans as well. Online lessons are also available to those interested.

Multi-Instrumentalist

Aaron offers lessons on a wide variety of instruments, including upright and electric bass, guitar, drums (not offered in home studio,) piano, mandolin, audio production, and more.
